Get a Library Card

Even the youngest kids can get a library card! Come by one of the library locations to get one for your child.

You can also request a temporary cards online. These will be good for 90 days; come by a library to get it changed into a permanent library card.

Children's Book Bundles

Do you need books for your kids but don't know what to request? Let us pick out a bundle of books for you, based on your criteria. Pick up the bundle at the checkout desk.

Chromebooks & Hotspots

Many of our libraries have Chromebooks and hotspots to check-out and take home for 14 days. Must be 19 or older to checkout. Only one of each per household. Ask about availability at your favorite library location.

Early Literacy

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

The challenge is simple. The rewards are priceless.

Read books to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books before your precious one starts kindergarten.

Storytimes

Early reading ignites creativity, sparks curiosity, and stimulates the imagination in young children. Storytimes are designed to help promote a passion for learning, help build listening and memory skills, and act as an integral part of early literacy education. Plus they provide an opportunity to interact with others and practice social skills in a place where everyone is learning and having fun!
