Adventure begins at your Library with education, exploration and wildlife rehabilitation – learn about the wonders of local animals!

The Environmental Studies Center will showcase a variety of local animals in their educational performance. Live animals may include opossum, snake, alligator, hawk or owl. The center houses a wildlife rehabilitation program that is dedicated to the care and potential release of injured and orphaned native wildlife. They will join us for the Summer Library Celebration by sharing information about animals native to the Alabama region.

Diamond pod art is the “New” paint-by-numbers! Join us for a relaxing, fun time in Mrs. Emma Study Room as we create colorful diamond designed coasters, refrigerator magnets and hanging art work!
