We have 11 library locations and a Bookmobile.

Database Usage: 4.3 million

Library as Access Provider

Public Computer & WiFi Uses: 333,179 

We have 540 tablets and computers available for public use.

Physical Items in Our Collection: 564,694

Not just books - DVDs, toys, music, audiobooks, games and more types of items are available. 

eBooks, Audiobooks and More Digital Items: 1,118,374

These are found on Hoopla, Kanopy and Cloudlibrary. 

Library as Community

Cardholders: 144,473

35% of Mobile County have library cards.

Events & Classes Offered: 2,930

Events & Classes Attendance: 67,948

373 of these events were offsite in the community and attended by 11,649 people

Additionally, 17,297 people participated in 294 other types of activities at the libraries - reading challenges, scavenger hunts, exhibits and more.
