The Excelsior Band has a rich and colorful history rooted in the tradition of carnival, Mobile and the Gulf Coast. The Excelsior Band has been performing since 1883 and was selected as one of the National Endowment for the Arts 2022 Heritage Fellows. Join us to enjoy music by the marching brass band that will consist of 1 trumpet, 1saxophone, 1tuba and two drums during the summer Library Celebration.

Designed to be welcoming for neurodivergent children, this inclusive storytime incorporates movement, music and stories along with American Sign Language (ASL).
