Remember them and their sacrifice...

In honor of National Purple Heart Day, please join us at Ben May Main Library in Bernheim Hall to show support for the 92nd Infantry Division World War II (Buffalo Soldiers). Purple Heart Day was first observed in 2014 and has been observed every year since. It’s a day for Americans to remember and honor the men and women who bravely represented their country and were wounded or killed whilst serving.

Guest speakers will be Congressman Jerry Carl and University of South Alabama President Joe Bonner.

After the program, join us in the Armbrecht/Briskman meeting room for light refreshments. We hope to see you there!

This program is FREE and open to the public.

For more information, please email Adrienne McSwain at amcwain@mplonline.org or call 251-494-2298.
