The Environmental Studies Center will showcase a variety of local animals in their educational performance. Live animals may include opossum, snake, alligator, hawk or owl. The center houses a wildlife rehabilitation program that is dedicated to the care and potential release of injured and orphaned native wildlife. They will join us for the Summer Library Celebration by sharing information about animals native to the Alabama region.

Diamond painting is a fantastic activity to help adults let go of stress and anxiety while building artistic confidence! Rather than using a paintbrush, you will use an applicator to apply tiny resin 'diamonds' to an adhesive canvas to create your own vivid, shimmering work of art! Join us in the meeting room to learn how it's done.

This program is designed for adults but teens and older children are welcome if accompanied by an adult. We will provide everything needed for your creation, but registration is recommended, as supplies are limited.
